I used this company twice and could not have asked for a more friendly and reasonable and punctual service. The drivers and packers were super helpful about my shambolic packing and when it became clear that I had not booked the van for long enough, the potentially nightmarish scenario was quickly ironed out so that no one was left in the lurch. Nothing was too much trouble and I would certainly use the company again - both for the experience and support with the booking and the managers as well as the service on both days. Today Newton and Gabriel from The Man Van helped us to move into our new flat. They were outstanding. Both of them were very friendly, kind, efficient and helpful. It couldn't have been a better service. Since we have pets (which we couldn't/didn't want to put them on the lorry), once the lorry was loaded up, they waited until our bolt/uber arrived and even helped us to load the car. The services are first class all round. The guys are very professional and worked very hard, they packed our piano and furniture carefully and very efficient too, very happy with their services and good value for money too. The driver was super quick, efficient, patient and helpful. Stacked everything responsibly and came with a big van with all the necessary tools to secure the more fragile stuff. He was also eager to help move things into the delivery address and place them in their proper place for us. My only note would be that the phones of the head office need to be answered more! Thank you so much for helping us moving quite an unusual load (patio plants in big pots)! Our driver Newton and his friend done a great job and we are actually trying to book the same team again to move other things. Highly recommended and a great value for money. Ours wasn't a particularly easy move either with our flat being on the 3rd floor with no lift but the 2 men who came were so efficient and got things done as quickly as could be expected. The guys helping us were Pablo and Linke and they were just excellent. We had two pick up stops and they arrived on time - quickly, carefully and efficiently loaded everything at each location and moved it all swiftly. We used The Man Van when moving house and from the initial, very reasonable quote, Washington was so helpful and quick to respond as we waited for a completion date. Our movers Ruan and Maico were amazing on the day, they arrived promptly and were incredibly efficient loading up. There was a wait while our sellers vacated the property and they were so great about hanging on, the unload was a lot trickier with tight stairs but they tackled it without complaint and made it look easy. What a team. Great value, reliable, strong, on time, very very helpful. I was moving from North London to Devon along with my 95 year old Mum and they were recommended by my niece who had used them herself. I still got other quotes but The Van Man beat them all. After 63 years living in our old house and a lifetime of stuff to move these guys were brilliant. Made everything less traumatic. They loaded, drove approx 5 hours and unloaded without incident. We were so grateful and the cost was brilliant. Don’t go for the overpriced ‘names’ they seem to be trying to claw back their Covid losses, go for these guys instead, you won’t be disappointed.read more

My driver was late due to an event causing heavy traffic in London, however he was so incredibly helpful, apologetic, friendly and positive that he made the move so easy and enjoyable I was incredibly impressed and pleased with the service. Good communication before my removal via Mail. Then the two helpers came and carried everything down (from the 4.th floor!) into the Van. After we drove to my new accomandation. I said how i want to have moved furnitures and boxes etc. and they did it for me. Great good job from them. After all the furnitures and boxes etc. were out of the Van they asked me to come down again to check the Van if there is anything from me inside. I checked but there wasn´t. So i could be assured that I don´t miss anything. Good, reliable, hard workers. Recommend anytime!read more

I hired the services of two men to help me move my bed, belongings and a few over medium sized items to a new flat. Guilherme & Greg were on the job and from the moment I met them, they were extremely friendly helpful. I had requested that my bed be taken apart and they did this without any issues, always be extremely careful with my belongings and wrapping everything with blankets in the van. They moved quickly and within 2 hours, they had taken my bed apart, loaded it and all of my other belongings into the van, driven it to the new place (same area), unloaded it, taken it up to the new flat, assembled my new bed! Also Guilherme drove carefully and slowly around the corners, I had small boxes without lids, packed full of items and not one single item fell out. I 100% recommend this company's service and will definitely be reaching out to them in the future! :) Thank you!read more

Yes, you can trust the 5.0 ratings. Had a last minute delivery and Washington was available to do it for a much better price than the other 3 companies I talked to.
